My work spans contemporary art embroidery, Goldwork, ecclesiastical commissions, wearable embroidery and textile-based storytelling.
Combining traditional techniques such as Or Nué, silk shading and metal thread embroidery with contemporary themes and imagery, my practice explores ideas of beauty, devotion, memory, identity and cultural value. I am particularly interested in embroidery as both a physical act of labour and a visual language capable of carrying emotional, historical and political meaning.
Projects range from exhibition pieces and private commissions to collaborative work, teaching projects and small-scale wearable collections.
