About Me

I am an award-winning art embroiderer, RSN Fellow and Freeman of the Worshipful Company of Gold and Silver Wyre Drawers, specialising in Goldwork and contemporary hand embroidery.

Trained at the Royal School of Needlework, my practice combines traditional embroidery techniques with contemporary themes, drawing inspiration from history, fashion, spirituality and symbolism. My work explores embroidery not simply as decoration, but as a powerful language of storytelling, identity and human connection.

Alongside my studio practice, I teach embroidery workshops and develop projects that make heritage hand embroidery techniques accessible to contemporary audiences. Prior to embroidery, I worked in fashion, buying and product development, experience which continues to inform my visual approach and understanding of design, presentation and material culture.

My work has been exhibited nationally and recognised through awards including the Hand & Lock Prize for Embroidery, the National Embroidery Awards, the Mr X Stitch Needlework Prize and the Royal School of Needlework Top Student Award.
